The ‘Schiecentrale’ in the Lloyd quarter in Rotterdam is a former electricity factory which has been transformed into a creative center. Everybody in this AV-, Film and ICT- campus thinks and acts in images and sounds. At this moment over 80 companies and artists work with- and besides each other.

TRAM from Rotterdam CS:

Take tram no.8 Direction 'Spangen' till 'Sint Jobsweg'. After getting off, go left towards first crosspoint. Cross the road direction 'Maas' (canal) and go right at the end. At cafe 'Verhip' go left into Lloydstraat. The Schiecentrale is on the right side.

BY CAR

From The Hague (A13):

At traffic cross 'Kleinpolderplein Ring Rotterdam West' direction Hoek van Holland. At exit 12: Spaansepolder, direction Havens 200- 500 / Delfshaven. At Marconiplein go straight on direction Delfshaven-Centrum. After the square turn left into Vierhavenstraat. After ± 1 km at trafficlights turn right, direction Lloydkwartier, havens 211 - 250. Drive besides the water, and at crosspoint after cafe Verhip, turn right. This is the Lloydstraat. The Schiecentrale is on the right side.

From Utrecht (A20):

From Utrecht direction Gouda via A12. After Gouda over A20 to Rotterdam. Keep direction Dordrecht. Take exit 25 direction Centrum. Follow signs Centrum, after about 4.5 km (and several trafficlights) you get to the Maastunnel roundabout (Drooglever-Fortuynplein).PAY ATTENTION !: Do not go into Maastunnel! Follow direction Delfs-haven, straight over the bridge. After the bridge go left and than right on the Westzeedijk. At first crosspoint go left. At the end go right and directly left at cafe Verhip. This is the Lloydstraat. The Schiecentrale is on the right side.

From Breda (A16):

From Breda towards Dordrecht over the A16 direction Rotterdam. Before Brienenoordbrug go right, direction Ridderkerk / Europoort. Follow directions AHOY / Zuidplein A15. Follow A15 towards Vaanplein and follow signs Maastunnel and center. Take the Maastunnel and follow sign Delfshaven at the trafficsquare Drooglever-Fortynplein. Pass the bridge and at trafficlight go left. This the Lloydquarter, go right and then left. This is Lloydstraat and at your right you see Schiecentrale.
